Further info requests

If shortfalls are identified, CORU assessors may request additional information, case studies, or descriptions of your placements and work to support your application.

The key to avoiding this is to submit a well-prepared application, including detailed descriptions,  supporting letters.

Appeal

An appeal is a popular choice for candidates who disagree with their decision letter or have encountered errors in completing the required forms. We have successfully assisted overseas candidates with various appeals, achieving a 100% success rate.

Aptitude Test

If CORU assessors are not satisfied with the information provided in the application form, they may request further measures.Candidates always have a choice between an adaptation test or an aptitude test. The aptitude test is a challenging exam consisting of four parts, and it must be completed in Ireland.

Second Application

Re-submissions or re-appeals are common among candidates who are unable to meet the requirements outlined in their initial decision letters. We are proud to have a 100% success rate for re-submissions and offer expert professional support to guide you through the process.

Adaptation

An adaptation, also called a period of adaptation, refers to practical placements that must be completed in a hospital or clinic, depending on the profession. The candidate's decision letter will specify the duration of the adaptation, core areas, and duties that must be covered during the practical sessions.

Aditional recommendations

Occasionally, CORU assessors may request additional recommendations beyond aptitude tests or adaptation periods. These may include an extra study module or a specialist training program.

If you're unsure whether you meet CORU's criteria and requirements, simply forward your CV and transcript to us. We’ll provide a free assessment to help you determine your eligibility.
